A. When one begins architecture school, a spiral stair tends to be one of the most cliché architectural moves you can make. Some of the architectural greats have pulled it off, but it takes intention and purpose to introduce it at the right moment. A specific professor once joked, “You just need to design one, get it out of your system, and move on.” Well, this is officially MINTON’s second spiral stair, and we’re glad that we can wear it and not walk on it. It’s literal, which is also another architectural gesture than can cause a critic to cringe, but damn. It’s perfect.
